Hello. My name is Zach. I like friends and enjoy life spontaneously. Quotes inspire me; they can be applied to literally every facet of life. I would like to think that others learn as much from me as I do from them. I am a work in progress that will never be complete.
I found this last night on the internet and thought it deserved contemplation. So I wrote it in my quote book then looked up the most badass wolf picture and drew it next to the story. Hope someone else finds it as inspiring as I do.
An old Cherokee was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them, “A battle is raging inside me… it is a terrible fight between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other one stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The old man fixed the children with a firm stare. “This same fight is going on inside every other person too.”
They thought about it for a minute and then one child asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee replied: “The one you feed.”

"Almost everything - all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart."
"There is no beautifier of complexion, or form, or behavior, like the wish to scatter joy and not pain around us."

Fixed. I am very upset at you herochan, but I still respect you for the amazing blog you are.
Yes.
And I’m not afraid to say it. My heart hurt a little towards the end but I liked how it ended with a glimmer of hope. It easily can be related to all. <3
